Are we victims of our illusions?
What does this obsession with controlling our reflection reveal?
The Optical Illusion
Illuptik immerses us in the mysterious world of optical illusions. A work that questions us about the current world, particularly that of virtual reality and social networks.
The (De)construction of Certainties
Upon reflection, a world where certainties falter and doubt fosters open-mindedness—isn’t that a freer world? There is no sphere, there is no cube in this Illuptik, and yet they are present! How can a static work have a reflection in motion?
Between Illusion and Certainty
A confrontation between revelation and secrecy, true and false, real and virtual. From reflection to introspection, as the observer becomes aware of their image within the work, they realize that they influence the scene. They then feel observed and begin to observe themselves, forgetting the artwork.
A Polymorphic Work
Laser-cut steel cubes coated in pearlescent colors are fixed onto polished mirror stainless steel plates. Chromed aluminum spheres are also included. These works can be custom-made according to the spaces and symbols desired.
